Loredana Corbo was born in Rome but she has been living in the Marches region since ever.
She has inherited her passion for arts from her grandparent who was a very skilful maker of furniture and, most of all, the founder of “The Professional Training School for Inlaying, Polishing and Carving Wood”.
After finishing High School, Mrs Corbo worked as an accountant, but she soon realized that this kind of job did not suit her real professional aspirations. Aware of her artistic gifts and longing to put her ideas into practice she decided to attend a training course for ceramists at the “School of Pottery-makers” in Montottone.
In Rome she attended seminars on painting techniques in porcelain held by Mrs Teresa Vian with whom she is still in contact. In the year 2000 she opened her workshop “Arte Idea”. Her works has been admired during many antique and artistic artisanship shows all over the world. Her most precious creations are the collector’s pieces that she reproduces in a limited number once a year.
